The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of the college is constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and NAAC guidelines. The committee is committed to provide a safe, secure, and respectful working and learning environment for women students and staff.
The ICC ensures prevention, prohibition, and redressal of complaints related to sexual harassment through a transparent, confidential, and fair mechanism.
Objectives
- To prevent sexual harassment at the workplace
- To ensure a safe and dignified environment for women
- To provide a confidential and impartial grievance redressal mechanism
- To promote awareness about legal rights and institutional policies
Functions / Tasks
- Receiving and addressing complaints related to sexual harassment
- Conducting inquiries in a fair, confidential, and time-bound manner
- Organizing awareness programmes on gender sensitivity and legal provisions
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and NAAC requirements
- Recommending appropriate action to the competent authority
- Maintaining records and submitting annual reports as required
